Historique :	Exposé au Salon en 1824, acquis par le préfet de la Seine pour l'église Saint-Vincent-de-Paul à Paris, prêté à l'église d'Issy sous le titre La Madeleine au pied de la croix en 1846, inscrit sur les registres de la fabrique comme don sous le titre Les Saintes Femmes au pied de la croix. Ancienne attribution (au moment du classement) : Dassy Jean-Joseph (peintre).
